The Need for Angelic Help and Deliverance:

 “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14, New King James Version).

It is high time for us to move away from mechanical religious activities and instead, examine the spiritual realities of what has been made available to us since our new birth in Christ Jesus. In His warning about the dangers of misleading little children, Jesus Christ said: “take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10, New King James Version). Note that Jesus said “their angels.”

This statement reveals one of the purposes of angels in the life of believers; thus, angels are assigned to help us overcome our inabilities. From the moment we are born into this world, one of the ways we express our needs or discomfort is by our loud cry; our specially assigned angel then, somehow, communicates our needs to our carers. Why have we now forgotten about these dependable helpers?

Nevertheless,  our attitude does not alter the truth of their reality and existence: angels are indeed invisible but they are also invincible with visible impact.  For example, they can deliver the saints from any form of bondage or incarceration. When Apostle Peter was imprisoned by King Herod and was to be killed, the Lord sent an angel to deliver him (read Acts 12). In his account Peter said: “now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.” (Acts 12:11b, New King James Version).

We know that the Lord is not a respecter of persons and His miracles are repeatable irrespective of time, seasons or locations. Consider the experiences of Daniel, who was unjustly imprisoned and was to be eaten by lions (Daniel 6). His testimony was similar to that of Apostle Peter above. Thus, he said to King Darius: “my God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless before Him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm.” (Daniel 6:22, English Standard Version).

We recall the account of Jesus Christ after His resurrection on the third day; here, an angel of the Lord rolled away the stone at the entrance of His tomb Matthew 28:2, New International Version states: “There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.”

This message shows you the way out of your current captivity: you should set in motion your angels by praying for your liberty. When Peter was jailed, the prayer of the saints activated the angelic release. We read in Acts 12:5 (New International Version): “so Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.” God always respond to our prayers by releasing angels to deliver His children from all kinds of bondage.

Let us pray: “Father, I thank you for the provision of angels for my deliverance. I command my angels to remove every obstacle (known and unknown) for my total liberty,“ in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
